Deck overview

This is a mono-blue Wizard-control/combo deck built around Arcanis the Omnipotent as a reusable draw engine and combo outlet. The plan is to slow the table with a dense countermagic suite, Propaganda, and flash wizards, then assemble one of several untap engines - Mind Over Matter with Arcanis or Azami, Lady of Scrolls, or Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal with mana rocks - to draw through the library and finish with Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. The commander can also bounce itself with {2}{U}{U} to dodge removal, and Azami, Lady of Scrolls acts as a second, cheaper draw engine hiding in the 99. Back-up win conditions include Triskaidekaphile and Twenty-Toed Toad. The wizard tribal shell provides sacrifice fodder for Flare of Denial and free bodies to turn on Strix Serenade and other Wizard synergies.
