K'rrik Mono Black - cEDH by Haphdamned

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth combo-reanimator deck. The game plan is to convert life into black mana, turbo out tutors, fill the graveyard, and execute a one-turn drain loop. The primary kill is Buried Alive binning Chainer, Dementia Master, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and Dimir House Guard; a cheap reanimation spell returns Chainer, who repeatedly reanimates Gray Merchant while Dimir House Guard provides a repeatable sacrifice outlet. Each iteration is life-positive, so the loop can kill the whole table in a single main phase. The secondary plan is an Aetherflux Reservoir "storm" line powered by Asmodeus the Archfiend and Vilis, Broker of Blood, with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth paying life for black pips. It is a fast, tutor-dense deck with very little stack interaction and almost no answer to resolved artifact/enchantment hate.
