Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Squirrel tribal deck commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, who acts as a force multiplier for every token you create - each token-producing spell or ability yields an extra 1/1 Squirrel. The primary plan is to amass an overwhelming board of Squirrels and other tokens, then win through combat (often with anthem effects like Beastmaster Ascension or Deep Forest Hermit) or through incremental drain effects from cards like Mirkwood Bats, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Nadier's Nightblade. The deck also leans into Food tokens synergies with Peregrin Took and Academy Manufactor, turning them into extra value. The commander's activated ability provides targeted removal in a pinch, but the core engine is the token-doubling clause. The deck has no true infinite combos, relying on sheer volume and incremental value to close out games.
