Commander: Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Selesnya Food-token-and-lifegain deck helmed by Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit. The primary game plan is to generate a critical mass of Food tokens, convert them into life, and then leverage that life into overwhelming board presence through +1/+1 counters, token multiplication, and card draw. The commander pairing offers excellent synergy: Sam creates a Food each combat and reduces activation costs, while Frodo tutors for him from the deck when Sam enters, ensuring the pair is together. The deck wins by turning its massive token and counter engine into an unblockable combat step via Feasting Hobbit (which can't be blocked by smaller creatures), a massive Banquet Guests/Excalibur II-boosted army, or by generating board-wide hexproof/indestructible lines. Secondary win conditions include Assemble the Entmoot for a life-dependent token army and The Great Henge as a life-draw-and-counter engine. It's a high-synergy, value-oriented aristocrats-adjacent deck that wins through overwhelming combat inevitability.
