Format: Commander

Commander: Kykar, Wind's Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kykar, Wind's Fury is a spell-matters token engine: every noncreature spell makes a Spirit, and those Spirits become available red mana that keeps the chain going. The primary kill is a mid-game storm turn built on Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal, closed by Aetherflux Reservoir, Grapeshot, or Brain Freeze. The backup route uses Purphoros, Impact Tremors, and the Alliance/ETB burn creatures to turn Spirits and tokens directly into damage. Kykar, Zephyr Awakener is the most useful hidden backup commander in the 99: it mirrors the same noncreature-spell trigger and can blink one piece for protection.
