Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet storm and spellslinger strategy designed to generate massive storm counts and win in a single explosive turn. The deck accelerates in the early game with cheap mana rocks and cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer, Baral, Chief of Compliance, and Stormcatch Mentor. Once established, engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Veyran, Voice of Duality convert every cast into cards and mana. The primary win condition revolves around resolving Underworld Breach or chaining rituals like Seething Song and Rite of Flame into lethal finishers such as Brain Freeze or Grapeshot. Damage triggers from Vivi Ornitier and Guttersnipe provide additional reach. While the deck lacks fast mana staples and free countermagic of cEDH, it possesses high functional redundancy and deep cantrip selection. Its game plan finishes the entire table at once, giving opponents zero response cycles once the storm sequence begins.
