Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius aggro-midrange strategy centered on Denzilore Fatehold. The commander turns every scry and surveil action into team-wide +1/+1 counters. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost utility creatures, token generators, and cheap scry enablers like Faerie Seer, Nightveil Sprite, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. On Turn 4, Denzilore enters the battlefield—often utilizing flash on an opponent's end step—to begin compounding board power. Midgame turns leverage multi-instance scry effects like Cryptic Annelid and repeatable engines like Matoya, Archon Elder and Elvish Mariner to rapidly grow an evasive army while drawing cards and tapping opposing threats. The deck finishes games around Turn 6 to 8 by deploying asymmetric board breakers such as Herald of Secret Streams, Damning Verdict, or Wave Goodbye, swinging for lethal unblockable combat damage across consecutive rotations while protecting its board with efficient 1-mana protection spells.
