Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact midrange strategy helmed by Imotekh the Stormlord. It leverages the unearth mechanic, self-mill, and reanimation to turn the graveyard into an active resource pool. Whenever artifact cards leave the graveyard, Imotekh generates pairs of 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens, building an imposing board state with zero additional mana investment. The deck complements this engine with lord effects such as Skorpekh Lord, granting evasion and power buffs to push through opposing blockers. While it lacks unconditional tutoring and fast mana, it compensates with resilient recursion spells like Living Death, Beacon of Unrest, and Dread Return. Key high-end bombs such as Shard of the Void Dragon and Shard of the Nightbringer provide heavy attrition and life-total pressure, enabling the deck to transition smoothly from incremental token generation into a decisive combat win.
