Commander: Scion of Halaster and Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir control and spellslinger deck leverages Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy alongside Scion of Halaster to generate continuous card velocity and graveyard recursion. Scion of Halaster smooths early draws while stocking the graveyard, allowing Gale to cross-cast instants and sorceries for double value. The deck controls the board with efficient counterspells, bounce effects, and targeted removal while digging toward several compact win conditions. Primary victory lines include exiling the library with Leveler or Divining Witch to win through Laboratory Maniac, resolving Peer into the Abyss alongside Underworld Dreams or Ob Nixilis, the Hate-Twisted, or overwhelming opponents with a swarm of flying tokens.
