Well Bess Your Heart

Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Selesnya go-wide combat plan built around creatures and tokens with base power and toughness 1/1. Led by Bess, Soul Nourisher, every entering 1/1 creature adds a +1/+1 counter to Bess. When Bess attacks, she distributes a massive stat buff equal to her counters across all attacking 1/1s, turning a swarm of small tokens into lethal threats. Accelerated by efficient mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Katilda, Dawnhart Prime, the deck establishes token production early with Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Torens, Fist of the Angels, and Call the Coppercoats. Steady card draw engines like Skullclamp and Welcoming Vampire keep resources flowing, while an extensive instant-speed protection suite featuring Clever Concealment and Heroic Intervention shields the board from sweepers. The deck closes games around Turn 6 or 7 through overwhelming combat damage, supported by evasion enablers like Akroma's Will and Champion of Lambholt.
