Deck overview

This Golgari deck harnesses Rendmaw, Creaking Nest to convert cards with two or more card types into a swarm of goaded 2/2 flying Birds for every player. By packing over twenty-five dual-type cards—including artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, artifact lands, and kindred spells—the deck continuously floods the battlefield while forcing opponents to attack one another. This mandatory combat steadily depletes opposing life totals while protecting your own life total behind reach blockers. As the board fills with fragile tokens, the deck transitions into an aristocrats finish using death triggers like Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, and Syr Konrad, the Grim, or delivers crushing mass-punishment through Massacre Wurm and Wing Storm. It also houses a compact two-card infinite drain loop with Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Enduring Tenacity. With explosive card draw from Pygmy Kavu and resilient recursion, the deck turns symmetric token generation into an asymmetric, lethal squeeze.
