Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant midrange deck helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, focusing on +1/+1 counters, proliferate, and combat progression. The early game establishes dependable mana acceleration through low-cost mana dorks and ramp spells before deploying Tidus on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, Tidus rearranges counters and rewards successful combat connections with repeatable card draw and proliferate triggers. The midgame scales creature power rapidly using counter doublers such as Innkeeper's Talent, Doubling Season, and Zimone, Paradox Sculptor. Critical onset occurs around Turn 6, when massive pump effects like Unnatural Growth or Ouroboroid pair with evasion from Duskshell Crawler or Rikku, Resourceful Guardian to threaten lethal damage. While resilient against spot removal thanks to Sigarda, Font of Blessings, shield counters, and countermagic, the deck remains reliant on combat steps and vulnerable to mass exile effects.
