Deck overview

This is a Sultai "counters-matter" midrange deck helmed by Indominus Rex, Alpha, built to turn the command zone into a one-shot card-draw spell and a scaling 6/6 keyword monster. The game plan is to discard high-value creature cards on turn 4-5, draw a fistful of cards off the ETB, then grind out games with hexproof, deathtouch, trample, and flying keyword carriers. The deck's primary win path is combat: generate large board presence, distribute +1/+1 counters via the graveyard-scavenge package and counter-synergy permanents, then crack through with overrun-style effects like End-Raze Forerunners and Rumbleweed. The secondary path is a graveyard-resurrection angle, leveraging Living Death and Ever After to turn discarded threats into a full board. The deck lacks fast infinite combos, but it layers card advantage, recursive threats, and an unusually high density of keyword-immunity creatures to grind out tables.
