Commander: Lathliss, Dragon Queen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Dragon tribal beatdown list built around Lathliss, Dragon Queen as a force multiplier: every nontoken Dragon she sees entering becomes an extra 5/5 flier. The game plan is to accelerate with mana rocks, cost reducers, and Treasure generation, then deploy a steady stream of large flying Dragons while the deck's ETB burn engines - Scourge of Valkas, Terror of the Peaks, and Dragon Tempest - clear blockers and shave life totals. The primary kill is combat damage, typically delivered in one explosive turn via the Hellkite Charger + Scourge of the Throne extra-combat chain, a five-copy burst from Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, or double-striking dragons under Berserkers' Onslaught. Secondary routes include Dracogenesis free casts, Sarkhan, Dragonsoul's ultimate, and the Hellkite Tyrant artifact condition. Utvara Hellkite and Skyline Despot act as hidden commanders, generating a whole army without Lathliss on the battlefield.
