Deck overview

This is a Dimir Dragon tribal deck helmed by Dragonlord Silumgar that leans heavily on a high-density flying threat base backed by countermagic and card advantage. The game plan is to ramp or cost-reduce into big dragons, use attack-trigger engines like Ancient Silver Dragon and Ancient Brass Dragon to bury opponents in cards, then close through repeated combat damage and death-trigger drains like Kokusho, the Evening Star. The commander acts as a flexible theft/tempo piece that can steal an opponent's best creature or planeswalker, but the deck is not dependent on him: the dragon beatdown and control shell lives almost entirely in the 99. With Urza's Incubator, Dragon's Hoard, and a land-heavy manabase, the deck eventually overwhelms the table with evasive 4/4-8/8 threats, backed by Sivitri, Dragon Master, one-sided wipes, and free counterspells. This is a midrange/control strategy rather than a combo or fast-aggro deck.
