Deck overview

This deck leverages Toph, the First Metalbender to turn nontoken artifacts into lands, creating a hybrid artifact-landfall engine. Cheap utility artifacts such as Chromatic Star, Ichor Wellspring, and Prized Statue serve a dual purpose: they draw cards while simultaneously triggering landfall abilities on Lotus Cobra, Tireless Provisioner, and Tireless Tracker. At each end step, Toph earthbends an artifact land into an aggressive creature with built-in recursion if destroyed. The mid-game transitions into massive board generation using high-end landfall payoffs like Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Titania, Protector of Argoth, which rapidly build an army of Elemental, Beast, and Plant tokens. The deck secures victory by overwhelming the table through multi-combat steps from Moraug, Fury of Akoum, overrun effects from Depthshaker Titan, or direct burn from Makeshift Munitions and Hedron Detonator.
