Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius tap-synergy control deck helmed by Hylda of the Icy Crown. Its strategy revolves around utilizing a dense suite of repeatable tappers such as Frostbridge Guard, Niblis of the Breath, and Icy Manipulator to neutralize opposing threats during opponent turns. Whenever an opponent's untapped creature is tapped, Hylda's ability triggers, allowing the deck to invest {1} to create 4/4 Elemental tokens, buff the board with +1/+1 counters, or scry and draw cards. Because the deck omits fast mana artifacts, it operates strictly on a fair land curve, assembling its core engine by Turn 5 and establishing a threatening board presence by Turn 6. The deck wins by going wide with 4/4 Elementals, breaking through opposing lines by tapping prospective blockers or resolving asymmetric sweepers like Sunblast Angel and Unstable Glyphbridge // Sandswirl Wanderglyph.
