Deck overview

This is a mono-green Hydra tribal "fight" deck helmed by Gargos, Vicious Watcher, built around two interlocking axes: casting oversized Hydras at a steep discount, and turning every targeted spell into a removal spell via Gargos's fight trigger. The deck wants to ramp into Gargos, then chain cheap pump/protection spells at its own creatures to repeatedly fight opponents' boards while growing a board of trampling, counter-stacked Hydras. The primary win is combat damage, accelerated by counter-doublers (Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal, Unbound Flourishing) and finishers like Overwhelming Stampede, Klothys's Design, and Unnatural Growth. Secondary paths include Hydra Broodmaster's token swarm and Genesis Hydra cheating out permanents. It is a fair, grindy stompy deck with no infinite combos and a slow but inevitable combat clock.
