Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Sultai X-spell midrange and combo strategy commanded by Zaxara, the Exemplary. Zaxara provides both mana acceleration and board presence by producing two mana of any color and creating scaling Hydra creature tokens whenever an X-spell is cast. The primary game plan focuses on generating infinite colored mana by enchanting an active Zaxara with Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura. Once infinite mana is achieved, the deck immediately wins the game on the spot by casting massive finishers like Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Walking Ballista. A compact tutor package including Demonic Tutor and Mystical Tutor ensures consistent assembly, while strong card draw engines such as Rhystic Study, The Great Henge, and Garruk's Uprising maintain continuous card flow. Free defensive interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick protects the combo turn, giving the deck a fast, resilient clock.
