Deck overview

This Commander deck is a classic five-color Dragon Tribal stompy build commanded by The Ur-Dragon. Leveraging the commander's Eminence ability, the deck discounts expensive Dragons from the command zone, allowing early acceleration into dominant mid-game engines. The game plan focuses on establishing ramp and cost reducers on Turns 1–3, deploying synergistic draw and burn engines like Temur Ascendancy, Elemental Bond, Dragon Tempest, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm on Turn 4, and transitioning into critical threat onset by Turn 6. Finishers like Atarka, World Render, Terror of the Peaks, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and The Ur-Dragon generate overwhelming combat damage and direct burn to dismantle opponents over two response cycles. While the deck boasts high threat density, resilient beaters, and powerful ETB payoffs, its mana base suffers from noticeable tap-land friction, and its game plan remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and fast combo strategies.
