Yuriko Ninja by Wintergreen

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow is a UB Ninja tempo-drain deck. The primary plan is to get an unblockable creature or cheap Ninja through, activate commander ninjutsu to put Yuriko into play tapped and attacking, then stack Yuriko's trigger with other Ninja triggers to reveal high mana value cards (e.g., Great Whale, Capture of Jingzhou, Silent-Blade Oni) for massive drain and card advantage. Use disruption and tempo plays (removal, counterspells, Cyclonic Rift) to protect Yuriko and keep the board clear while Ninja damage builds. Assemble the Thassa's Oracle line: use tutors (Demonic Consultation, Vampiric Tutor, Tainted Pact, Doomsday, Lim-Dul's Vault) to find the combo piece and/or use Doomsday to stack the library, then play Thassa's Oracle to win. Alternatively, create infinite mana with Peregrine Drake/Palinchron/Great Whale plus Ninja recursion (e.g., Moon-Circuit Hacker, Ingenious Infiltrator, Mist-Syndicate Naga) and then finish with a huge Yuriko trigger or an extra-turn loop.
