Deck overview

This deck is a Temur big-mana stompy strategy centered on Dragon tribal synergies and high-velocity creature cheating. The game plan prioritizes developing mana acceleration and cost reducers during the first three turns to cast Ureni of the Unwritten on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield, Ureni immediately digs eight cards deep to cheat a massive Dragon into play, bypassing high mana costs and instantly threatening the table. Subsequent combat phases trigger additional free Dragon deployments, rapidly compounding aerial power, direct damage triggers, and token swarms through powerhouses like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Utvara Hellkite. The deck protects its heavy threats with efficient countermagic and defensive spells like Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention, while wiping opposing boards with Cyclonic Rift or Balefire Dragon. Opponents must answer multiple lethal flying threats in rapid succession or succumb to overwhelming aerial combat damage by Turn 7.
