PAPER Food and Fellowship by noir243

Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant lead an Abzan Food-and-lifegain engine that converts token creation and life gain into card draw and drain. The primary plan is to multiply Food with Peregrin Took, then break the game with Nuka-Cola Vending Machine's sacrifice loop, converting infinite sacrifices into damage via Mirkwood Bats or Sanguine Bond. Secondary plans use commander combat with Frodo, token beatdown from Chatterfang and Ocelot Pride, and extort-style triggers. The deck is a value-combo hybrid: it can grind with lifegain draw while assembling the two-card loop. There is no hidden commander; the sub-partner pair Merry and Pippin acts as a tutor/value side package.
