Commander: Sai, Master Thopterist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact value deck is helmed by Sai, Master Thopterist, who generates 1/1 flying Thopter tokens each time you cast an artifact spell and can sacrifice two artifacts to draw a card. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of cheap artifacts, reduce their costs, and either win through combat with a boosted Thopter swarm (thanks to Stridehangar Automaton, Banner of Kinship, and Akroma's Memorial) or assemble an infinite mana combo using Dramatic Reversal + Urza, Lord High Artificer + a blue-producing mana rock. That infinite mana then feeds Emry, Lurker of the Loch to loop a zero-cost artifact, creating infinite Thopters via Sai and draining opponents with Glaring Fleshraker. Secondary wins come from Simulacrum Synthesizer constructs and Idol of Oblivion's 10/10 token. The deck is a mid-power, synergy-driven artifact engine that can pivot between combat and combo as the game dictates.
