Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Equipment, Auras, and counter modifications to build an aggressive, high-damage combat engine. Led by Sephiroth, Fallen Hero, the strategy deploys self-modifying creatures such as Living Weapon and For Mirrodin! permanents during the opening turns. Once Sephiroth enters and attacks, its Jenova Cells ability raises the base power and toughness of every modified creature to 7/5 until end of turn. Pairing this massive stat boost with double strike creatures like Swiftblade Vindicator and Cloud, Planet's Champion enables explosive single-turn eliminations. The deck sustains card flow through engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin, while defending key threats with boots and phase-out spells like Clever Concealment. If Sephiroth is answered, its Reunion ability recurs it directly from the graveyard by sacrificing an expendable modified token, giving the aggressive strategy resilience through standard game rotations.
