Deck overview

This Boros deck is commanded by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut, turning all artifacts into Foods and weaponizing them as direct burn. By attaching lifelink equipment such as Basilisk Collar or Shadowspear to Ragost, each activation deals 3 damage to every opponent while gaining 9 total life. This life gain automatically triggers Ragost's end-step untap ability on each player's turn. Combined with untappers like Sting, the Glinting Dagger and Drumbellower, the deck burns the entire table for 9 to 15 damage per turn rotation. Mana engines like Crime Novelist and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine refund costs as artifacts are sacrificed. Chandra's Incinerator turns table burn into total creature control, while Aetherflux Reservoir can instantly eliminate players once life totals climb. The deck plays a fast, resilient midrange strategy with strong redundancy and flexible artifact interaction.
