I was a god I found it... beneath me [Doctor Doom, King of Latveria] by spikelee000

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis "discard matters" Villain-tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The plan is to convert every wheel, loot, and connive trigger into table-wide damage through payoffs like Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Brallin, Skyshark Rider, Magmakin Artillerist, and Cool but Rude. The commander amplifies the Villain theme by granting menace and a connive trigger each combat while draining 2 life per discarded land. The deck wins by chaining wheel effects (Windfall, Whispering Madness, Jace's Archivist) to drain the entire table at once, or through the one-shot Sheoldred, the Apocalypse plus Peer into the Abyss kill. The 99 is dense with Villains that reward discarding, making this a grind-value engine that closes through attrition and mass damage rather than a single lightning-fast combo.
