Deck overview

This Mardu turbo combo deck leverages explosive fast mana, efficient tutors, and compact win conditions to attempt format-ceiling finishes on Turns 1–3. Built around Celes, Rune Knight, the list utilizes its commander as both a hand-sculpting engine and a combo outlet alongside Lesser Masticore and Goblin Bombardment. The deck's primary avenues to victory, however, are non-commander combos: Dualcaster Mage paired with Molten Duplication to create infinite attacking creatures, and Underworld Breach loops fueled by Lion's Eye Diamond or Grinding Station. A dense package of 0–1 CMC acceleration (Dark Ritual, Lotus Petal, Chrome Mox) propels early Ad Nauseam or combo deployments. To ensure these rapid attempts resolve uncontested, the deck runs premier silence effects including Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Ranger-Captain of Eos. While vulnerable to heavy stax pieces that shut down graveyards or artifact mana, its multiple independent win routes and swift recovery make it exceptionally lethal.
