Heliod cEDH by ShadowSinthesis

Format: Commander

Commander: Heliod, the Radiant Dawn // Heliod, the Warped Eclipse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Heliod, the Warped Eclipse is the core of an Azorius flash-and-discount control-combo deck. The front face recurs an enchantment; the back face turns every opponent draw into a mana discount and grants flash. The plan is to deploy tax and draw engines, transform Heliod, then use one-sided draw spells to make Hullbreaker Horror and Displacer Kitten effectively cheap. Once assembled with Sol Ring and Mox Amber, the Kitten/Hullbreaker loop produces infinite mana and infinite cast triggers, ending with an X=100 Prosperity that decks all opponents. Teferi is effectively a hidden commander that doubles the deck's flash and tax effect.
