a storm in paradise by user6919853

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This high-velocity combo deck leverages Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder as a cascade engine to overwhelm opponents with spell velocity and compact win lines. While Yidris generates immense card advantage upon connecting, the deck can win quickly without casting its commander. Primary win conditions include the Dualcaster Mage and Saw in Half copy combo, Birgi, God of Storytelling paired with Grinning Ignus and Aetherflux Reservoir for infinite storm, and Breath of Fury loops with token generators like Loyal Apprentice. Disruptive locks like Maralen of the Mornsong alongside Opposition Agent completely shut out opponents, backed by fast mana, efficient tutors, and stack interaction to secure rapid victories.
