Animar-Drazi by Imperator_Karpador

Format: Commander

Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Temur Eldrazi deck built to exploit Animar, Soul of Elements's cost reduction to turn enormous colorless threats into cheap, explosive plays. The plan is to ramp early, land Animar on turn 3, and grow his +1/+1 counters by casting cheap creatures until the entire Eldrazi suite is effectively free. From there the deck either slams a cascade chain of Zhulodok, Void Gorger, Maelstrom Wanderer, and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, or pivots into a compact infinite loop with Ancestral Statue and Walking Ballista. A secondary Food Chain + Eternal Scourge package provides a commander-independent win. The deck is a hybrid of big-mana cascade and combo, backed by a dense instant-speed interaction suite to protect its key pieces.
