Deck overview

This is a midrange Villain tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built around the connive mechanic and land-discard synergies. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of Villain creatures, trigger connive repeatedly to loot through the library, discard land cards to drain opponents via the commander and other punishers, and close out the game through combat damage from evasive Villains and incremental life-loss effects. The deck generates strong card selection through ubiquitous connive triggers, backed by a dedicated recursion package and a handful of board wipes to stabilize. It wins through sustained attrition rather than a single explosive combo turn.
