Deck overview

This is a Gruul Ape/Monkey tribal midrange deck helmed by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The plan is to deploy Kibo, generate Banana tokens for shared ramp and life, then weaponize artifact destruction: every opposing artifact that hits the graveyard puts a +1/+1 counter on each of your Apes and Monkeys, while Kibo's attack trigger forces a sacrifice. Token doublers and counter multipliers (Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, Hardened Scales, The Ozolith) turn those triggers into a rapidly scaling board. Primary wins come through trampling combat damage backed by lords, anthems, and evasion; there are no infinite combo lines. Secondary angles include Descent into Avernus flooding the table with Treasures you then blow up, and big individual threats like Kogla, the Titan Ape and Grunn, the Lonely King. Kibo is a strong engine but not a hard lock-the 99 still functions as aggressive Ape goodstuff if he is answered.
