Passive damage by user1356414

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaervek the Merciless

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kaervek the Merciless leads a Rakdos burn-and-control deck that punishes every spell opponents cast while the deck itself drains life through death triggers, pings, and damage multipliers. The primary plan is to land Kaervek, protect the board with removal and discard, then convert every opposing spell into direct damage. Secondary paths use Fiery Emancipation, Stalking Vengeance, and Cavalier of Flame to turn small pings and creature deaths into massive burst damage. The hidden commander is Akul the Unrepentant, which sacrifices the deck's many token and expendable creatures to cheat out large demons and dragons. The deck has no infinite combos and wins through incremental damage, combat, and repeated death triggers.
