Toph, the First Metalbender turns the battlefield into a living extension of itself by converting nontoken artifacts into lands (though they don't tap for mana on their own) and using earthbend to animate lands as creatures with haste and +1/+1 counters. This creates a hyper-synergistic engine that cares about landfall, artifact count, and creature tokens. The deck's primary plan is to assemble a deterministic infinite combo (most frequently Devoted Druid + Ashaya, Soul of the Wild for infinite green mana, then Finale of Devastation for lethal damage) or to chain extra combat steps with Bumi, Unleashed and earthbend effects. Numerous tutors and a low average mana value of 2.59 keep the assembly fast, while a robust interaction suite-including stack protection and turn-denial effects-ensures the combo turn sticks. Secondary beats come from animated lands, Inkmoth Nexus poison, and a large Field of the Dead token army.
