TMT Precon by hdanner

Format: Commander

Commander: Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Mutant/Turtle/Ninja +1/+1 counters deck that wins through a wide, heavily counters-boosted combat board rather than through infinite combos. Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart are both cheap engines in the command zone: Leonardo turns every token that enters the battlefield into a team-wide +1/+1 counter once per turn and provides a WUBRG overrun for the finishing swing, while Michelangelo generates Food and an extra counter whenever the deck attacks. The actual power center of the 99 is Heroes in a Half Shell, which acts as a hidden commander by drawing cards and pumping every Mutant, Ninja, or Turtle that connects. The deck closes games through alpha strikes backed by Raphael, the Muscle's damage doubling, Shredder, Shadow Master's half-life clock, and the explosive Vigor + Blasphemous Act counter burst.
