Deck overview

Giada, Font of Hope commands a dedicated mono-white Angel typal deck focused on aggressive aerial beatdown and compounding lifegain synergies. The game plan centers on deploying Giada on Turn 2, who acts as both mana acceleration and an escalating +1/+1 counter engine for subsequent Angel spells. As mid-curve Angels enter the battlefield, Giada's passive ability snowballs their stats, quickly transforming a modest flying board into a lethal aerial armada. Lifegain payoffs like Righteous Valkyrie, Bishop of Wings, and Lyra Dawnbringer boost power totals and provide significant life padding to activate potent threshold buffs. The deck utilizes efficient mono-white removal and modular sweepers like Austere Command to clear opposing boards while maintaining an aggressive stance. However, the deck is heavily reliant on creature combat across multiple turn cycles, making it vulnerable to board wipes and card disadvantage if its initial wave of fliers is disrupted without an active draw engine.
