WitherBoom by CosmicIka

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer leads a Golgari swarm strategy that floods the battlefield with creature tokens to drastically discount powerful high-mana sorceries. Using cheap mana dorks and token generators like Tendershoot Dryad, Awakening Zone, and Beledros Witherbloom, the deck deploys a wide board that pays for Witherbloom's cost and grants affinity to its massive spells. It wins either by overwhelming opponents through token overrun effects like Vitalizing Wind, casting devastating one-sided wipes like Plague Wind and In Garruk's Wake, or assembling deterministic Magecraft drain combos using Chain of Smog alongside Professor Onyx or Witherbloom Apprentice.
