Deck overview

This Boros deck leverages the partner pairing of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Akroma, Vision of Ixidor to create explosive combat steps based on keyword accumulation. Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh enters on Turn 1 for zero mana, immediately turning on 'free commander' interaction like Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver, while enabling Lieutenant triggers and Backgrounds like Guild Artisan. The midgame establishes a wide keyword presence with creatures like Odric, Lunarch Marshal, Bastion Protector, and Skyhunter Strike Force. Once 7 mana is reached on Turn 6, Akroma, Vision of Ixidor hits the board, giving each creature +1/+1 for every keyword it possesses. Because Rograkh natively features first strike, menace, trample, and partner, he instantly becomes a lethal combatant. Supported by Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Jeska, Thrice Reborn, the deck closes games through decisive combat damage across two turns.
