Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Dimir combo-control deck helmed by Talion, the Kindly Lord. Talion taxes the table's spellcasting and converts it into card advantage while the deck digs toward a compact, tournament-style kill: Demonic Consultation into Thassa's Oracle. The shell is built around an enormous tutor suite - Demonic Bargain, Beseech the Queen, Wishclaw Talisman, and multiple transmute/cycling effects - plus strong draw engines like Ad Nauseam, Necrodominance, Phyrexian Arena, and Notion Thief + Windfall. It protects its lines with a dozen counterspells and clears creature boards with Toxic Deluge. The primary win is the Consultation/Oracle line, with Laboratory Maniac/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries draw-out backups and the Rooftop Storm + Acererak the Archlich infinite dungeon loop. Talion is a value layer rather than a required combo piece, making the deck unusually resilient to commander disruption.
