Violent Edgar by andresh86

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov is a Mardu Vampire-tribal aggro deck built around his Eminence ability, which generates a 1/1 Vampire token for each Vampire spell cast from anywhere. The primary plan is to deploy cheap Vampires, then use anthem lords and token multipliers to win with a single wide combat step. Secondary lines drain opponents with Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Sanctum Seeker, Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and Malakir Bloodwitch. The commander himself is a haste anthem and counter engine rather than the sole win condition. The deck contains no infinite combos; it wins through overwhelming combat and life-total attrition, with tutors and card draw to find its most impactful pieces.
