Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color Dragon tribal list commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages Eminence to discount all Dragon spells right from Turn 1, accelerating the deployment of massive flying threats. The game plan relies on early mana fixing and ramp to establish multiplicative value engines like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Temur Ascendancy, and Dragon Tempest by Turn 4. By Turn 5, explosive dragons such as Atarka, World Render, Old Gnawbone, and Terror of the Peaks create overwhelming lethal combat and burn pressure. The deck can close games decisively across 1 response cycle on Turn 6 through combat damage or an infinite attack combo with Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault. It maintains strong card velocity through ETB draw engines and Tiamat, recovering smoothly from board wipes while utilizing high-impact asymmetric spells like Crux of Fate and Teferi's Protection to protect its advantages.
