Deck overview

Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant is the draw-and-untap engine of a green-white toughness-combat deck. The primary plan is to assemble a toughness-matters effect (Assault Formation, Huatli, Tapestry Warden, or Baldin) and then attack with cheap reach creatures that can't be blocked by larger power. Tadeas untaps those attackers and replaces each connect with a card, while Champion of Lambholt and Sidar Kondo remove blockers. The deck has no infinite combo; it wins through repeated, increasingly large alpha strikes. Baldin and Huatli are alternate toughness payoffs, but neither is a hidden commander: the deck is built around Tadeas's card advantage and unblockable reach attackers.
