Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is a dedicated Dragon Tribal Stompy strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The deck focuses on accelerating mana during the early turns using tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and mana rocks like Carnelian Orb of Dragonkind. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield on Turn 5, every subsequent Dragon cast doubles its board presence by generating a 5/5 flying Dragon token. The deck leverages high-impact aerial threats such as Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, and Scourge of Valkas to deliver massive combat damage alongside direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest and Warstorm Surge. Asymmetric sweepers like Breath Weapon and Desolation of Smaug clear opposing ground armies while preserving the Dragon flock. While highly lethal in combat, the deck relies heavily on its board state and must navigate vulnerability to mass sweepers and a lack of enchantment removal.
