MonoB Budget by thelastdolphin

Format: Commander

Commander: Sarevok, Deathbringer and Criminal Past

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Built around the Sarevok/Criminal Past pairing, this mono-black deck wins by filling its own graveyard to make Sarevok enormous, then letting his end-step drain and unpreventable menace swings close games. The commander is the main engine, and Sivriss, Nightmare Speaker acts as a hidden commander in the 99: a reusable sac outlet and card-advantage engine. Secondary paths are aggressive commander damage and value reanimation of haymakers like Dusk Mangler. The deck is strongly graveyard-dependent; it uses self-mill, sacrifice fodder, and black removal to control the board while Sarevok accrues life-loss triggers.
