Meanwhile in Ulgrotha.....

Format: Commander

Commander: Feroz, Ulgrotha's Warden

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Bant superfriends deck that wins by building a board of planeswalkers and turning loyalty into emblems and tokens. Feroz, Ulgrotha's Warden is the engine: it draws cards, cheats permanents with mana value 4 or less into play, and creates a stax token. Doubling Season, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Innkeeper's Talent double counters and tokens so planeswalkers ultimate in one to two activations. Secondary paths use stax pieces like Dueling Grounds, Silent Arbiter, In the Eye of Chaos and Grand Abolisher to limit combat and interaction while you accumulate value. Teferi, Temporal Archmage acts as a hidden commander for untaps and emblem value.
