Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen commands an Esper Zombie tribal strategy that bridges token swarms, hand sculpting, and graveyard recursion. Early turns focus on deploying low-cost Zombies and mana rocks before casting Varina. Once in play, attacking with Zombies fuels a massive draw-and-discard engine while buffering your life total and feeding your graveyard. The deck translates these stocked graveyards and discarded creatures into game-ending value through mass reanimation, token duplication, and drain triggers. It wins by overwhelming opponents in combat with buffed, evasive tokens, draining the table with blood-artist effects, or leveraging infinite Gravecrawler loops with Ashnod's Altar and Rooftop Storm.
