This Abzan Food/lifegain deck is built around the partner pair Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit. Sam creates a Food every combat and discounts all Food activations, while Frodo converts life gain into Ring tempts and eventual card draw. The 99 is a dense network of Food producers, life-gain payoffs, and token synergies. The primary path to victory is converting a large stockpile of Foods into life, then into damage through Sanguine Bond, Mirkwood Bats, and Gollum, Obsessed Stalker. A secondary combat plan uses huge threats like Feasting Hobbit, Treebeard, Gracious Host, and Assemble the Entmoot.
