DeckCheck Threat Index: 35

Deck overview

This deck is a WUBR Polymorph Control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list excludes cheap utility creatures in the 99, ensuring every creature or planeswalker in the library is a game-ending bomb. The early game focuses on ramping through 2-CMC signets and talismans while generating cheap creature tokens via noncreature permanents such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller. On turn 4, casting Jace allows immediate activation of its −3 loyalty ability, exiling a token to cheat out massive threats like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, or Grave Titan. Supported by versatile removal spells, board wipes, and backup mass-polymorph effects like Mass Polymorph and Proteus Staff, the deck maintains steady card advantage and crushes opposing life totals across sequential combat turns.
