Deck overview

This Sultai deck transforms landfall triggers into an asymmetric mill engine commanded by Homer, the Hermit. By pairing kindred types—Crabs, Starfish, Trilobites, and Changelings—with land-acceleration and graveyard-recursion pieces, the deck scales Homer's mill triggers exponentially. Early turns focus on ramping mana with 1–2 CMC spells and deploying cheap kindred creatures like Hedron Crab and Purple Pentapus. Once Homer enters on Turn 4, land recursion via Ramunap Excavator, Icetill Explorer, and Mole Man, Moloid Master fuels continuous mill across all three opponents. Mid-game spikes from Aftermath Analyst, Through the Forest Gate, and Maddening Cacophony deplete entire libraries, while Scute Swarm and Mossborn Hydra provide robust alternate combat pressure. The deck operates smoothly at mid-to-high power tables with resilient recursion and high synergy.
